My First Search! YAY!

So, I am the newest member of the coolest SAR team ever! Just thought I'd let you know. They voted me in a little while back, but I wasn't really keeping up with my poor neglected blog at the time. Tempie is not certified yet, but I will be going out as a flanker until she is. In fact, I had my first callout today. I am exhausted, covered in mud, half-drowned from wading around in swamp water, scratched up and bleeding everywhere, and still sooooo excited! I came home and worked Tempie with renewed enthusiasm, which definitely had a nice effect on her performance. She wasn't flawless, but she had awesome drive and worked really hard for me. And she found everything, which is always a good thing. Rest assured that she is being thoroughly spoiled for her efforts.
